    Island Beach State Park

Central Ave & 24th Ave. Berkeley Township, NJ

After taking a hit from Hurricane Sandy, crews have worked relentlessly in an effort to restore the beautifully preserved 10-mile sandy barrier island of Island Beach State Park. Just a quick drive from Seaside Heights, Island Beach State Park is known for having it all - a beautiful sandy beach, natural habitats, abundant wildlife and great views of the Barnegat Lighthouse at the island's southernmost tip. While partially reopened, visitors are currently welcome to the park and efforts continue as the Jersey Shore gears up for summer.
