Today is Feast of St Joseph and if you’re Catholic or grew up near an authentic Italian bakery like, say, the DeNora Brothers Central Bakery in Union City, you yearned for those delicious Zeppole di San Giuseppe which people are probably standing in line for.

If you’ve never had one, you should.  And if you don’t live near an authentic Italian bakery you should and experience what you’re missing out on: a soft fried zeppole combined with the sweet custard and powdered sugar to form the perfect mouthwatering taste. Wash it down with some espresso with a little Sambuca and a lemon peel and you've got dessert to die for!
