They Put Bacon In WHAT? What Are The Strangest Food Combinations You Have Ever Tried?

Bacon flavored everything is becoming a huge trend. They have bacon scented perfume, bacon flavored ice cream, and in Wildwood, a very popular delicacy: Chocolate covered bacon. As it turns out, one New Jersey candy maker was ahead of the game, adding this treat to the menu a few years ago.

According to NJ.com,

While the “salty and sweet” flavor combination has been around for many years, a new version of this taste appeared just a few years ago and has taken the candy world by storm.

“Chocolate-covered meat wasn’t really my thing,” said candy maker David Roach of Laura’s Fudge in Wildwood, however, after his shop was chosen to appear on “Dinner Impossible” in 2008, chocolate-covered bacon became a staple on his menu.
