The bass are off their beds – See the photos

Last night I caught a couple of nice large mouth bass in a freshwater lake near my house.

Nothing like an after dinner cigar. Only thing better is catching a fish or two while you're smoking it! I only had a half an hour and picked up these two in the span of about 10 minutes. Nice fish too. One was about 3 1/2 lbs. the other about 2 1/2. Plastic Gary Yamamoto wacky worm , hooked through the middle. They couldn't resist. They should be off of their spawning beds, and looking to eat!
