It's that time of year again. Fall is in the air. Crinkling leaves beneath your feet, a cup of cider in your hand. Maybe a trip to the apple orchard. Definitely a trip to an abandoned prison to see your friends collapse screaming to the floor in horror as blood runs down the walls and zombies try to devour your flesh. Terror Behind The Walls starts up again this weekend at Eastern State Penitentiary.

I've never been, but I'm supposed to be going on a Saturday in October. Hopefully I won't make a fool of myself. They say the premise, the lighting, and the Hollywood quality special effects makeup are amazing. From what I hear through friends who go ever year, imagine Shawshank with the living dead chasing you.

This year is a new immersive VIP experience. The standard rule has always been the 'ghouls' and 'zombies' are not allowed to touch you. They can get right up in your face out of nowhere screaming bloody murder, but they can't touch you. However, if you WANT the experience, you can get 'tagged' before going in as someone who wants the experience of being grabbed, even separated from your group and whisked down secret passageways by the undead and practically become part of the show.

The cheapest prices of the season are for this opening weekend, especially if you buy online. For all the information, click here.
