By now you have all probably heard that Governor Christie called openly gay Assemblyman Reed Gusciora "numb nuts" during a Statehouse news conference.  Instead of harping over whether or not Christie went to far in using the phrase "numb nuts", Dennis and Judi wanted to come up with other less offensive phrases that could have been used.

Has everybody gone crazy? I remember reading once that people suffering from psychoses take everything seriously. They cannot recognize that metaphor, things said in humor, plays on words, exercises of imagination, and the like are not necessarily factual. They lack the quality of abstraction. All assertions are taken as fact.
