Tuesday's high temperatures reached as high as 72 in Trenton and Mount Holly, 70 in Atlantic City, and 71 at Newark Liberty Airport. So it was around 70 or so as I predicted. Today will be in the low 70s with variable clouds and some sun, but I think it'll be dry...

High temperatures Monday reached no better than 69 in Trenton, 67 or 68 elsewhere. The wind finally dissipated to a light zephyr along the coast, but it may pick up again today for a while. With some sunshine today, highs will be near 70, but cooler by a bit near the ocean...

The weekend turned out better than expected. We had some partial clearing and some sunshine, especially in the northern half of the state on Saturday, and nothing more than patchy clouds and sunshine with still a brisk wind along the shore...

High temperatures on Wednesday just reached the lows 60's, and we're not going to get any higher than the upper 50's to low 60's today with rain heavy at times and a gusty wind.

There were a lot more high clouds around yesterday, which dimmed the sunshine and allowed high temperatures to do no better than 65 to near 70. Naturally, Newark made 70. It's going to be in the 60s for the next several days. It will be mostly cloudy today with maybe some dim sun at times this morning, but becoming mostly cloudy with a gusty wind, especially near the ocean...

Despite the rain yesterday, we reached the upper 70s to near 80 in a few spots.  We had a half-inch to an inch of rain. There was an isolated report near Paterson of a funnel cloud, but that was the exception and not the rule. There was no real issue with the tornado watch, and it was actually cancelled before 4 p...

The weekend forecast was an interesting one. It was partly to mostly sunny, very warm and humid, in the middle 80s or so everywhere Saturday with the exception of the Jersey Shore.  Within 10 miles of the coast, it was pretty cloudy with lots of low clouds and damp conditions...

The normal high temperature for New Jersey, as of today, is about 71 degrees. It was 74 and 75 in a few places yesterday, so above normal. We are going to be much above normal the next few days here in the Garden State.  With a partly sunny sky today, it will be warmer, around 80 or so...

The weekend was excellent, and the forecast worked out pretty much as advertised. It was only in the low 70s yesterday, but that's normal - 71 or 72 is the normal high temperature for New Jersey this time of the year. Beyond many patchy clouds today, we'll be partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures no better than the low 70s...
