The weekend turned out better than expected.

We had some partial clearing and some sunshine, especially in the northern half of the state on Saturday, and nothing more than patchy clouds and sunshine with still a brisk wind along the shore.

High temperatures yesterday were interesting.  It was 66 in Atlantic City, Trenton, Newark and Wrightstown.  Except for Atlantic City's normal high of 68, 66 is exactly where we should be for this time of the year.

We will have some patchy clouds and sunshine with a busy wind, but not as much along the beach and boardwalk.  High temperatures this afternoon will probably be in the upper 60s to maybe 70, but cooler near the beach and boardwalk.

Clear to partly cloudy tonight and comfortably cool.

We look for some sunshine and some clouds for Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.

Wednesday offers the chance of at least a few showers.

We'll have more on that in future reports.
