The weekend forecast was an interesting one.

It was partly to mostly sunny, very warm and humid, in the middle 80s or so everywhere Saturday with the exception of the Jersey Shore.  Within 10 miles of the coast, it was pretty cloudy with lots of low clouds and damp conditions.

Yesterday featured lots of low clouds in Central and North Jersey, which didn't break for some sunshine in southern counties until later in the day, when it reached the upper 70s to low 80s.

Today's temperatures will be in the 70s, warm and humid with highs near maybe 80 in far South Jersey.  There will be some heavy showers and some thunderstorms moving through, especially this afternoon and early this evening.

After that, we should get some clearing later tonight with temperatures in the cooler 50s with even some 40s possible in northern and western counties.

We'll have a brisk wind from off the ocean with a good deal of sunshine.

Tuesday's high temperatures will probably be no better than the low 70s.

It'll be the same for Wednesday when we start to have an increasing chance of rain and showers, especially in southern counties later in the day with a brisk, gusty wind from the north.
