School Starts Soon [PHOTOS]

The "Have A Nice Summer" signs are coming down across the Great Garden State, as the first school day of the new term...looms large!

It seems like just yesterday that I was using this space to congratulate all of our graduates...but its true...school will be opening for a new term over the course of the next few days.

I'm posting this "friendly reminder" as a public service...

...at the risk of being very unpopular with school kids.

Check for the start date in your hometown. It varies from district to district.

When I was in school (at the above school), we ALWAYS started the Thursday after Labor Day...now, its the Monday after!

WOW! As a 7th or 8th grader, I would have LOVED a summer that lasted just a little longer!
