Back on the air today after being off Friday for the wedding.

I'm sure my wife Aubree (wow, I like the sound of that!) would agree we had the dream team when it came to all involved; our officiant, florist, photographer, dj, bakery, and venue were just the best!

We had both the ceremony and reception at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. It's a beautiful place. We've been hearing nothing but good things from our guests about the staff there since Friday night. How incredibly professional and friendly the staff was, and certainly helpful in going above and beyond. I have to personally thank our wedding maitre d' John Leitz for all he did, most especially dealing with me and my jangled nerves on a stressful day. John's the best!

Huge thanks to DJ James DePaul from PAE Event Group (Paul Anthony Entertainment)! These folks read the room so well and played such a great mix it was unbelievable. Everyone was talking about how awesome James was and the photo booth was a big hit, too. Oh, and talk about a total class act...here's a story for you. DJ James got to the bouquet toss portion of the night and a little 9 year old girl caught it. He was classy enough to know it just wouldn't be right to end up having a grown man put a garter on a little girl's leg, so he called for a 'do-over' and called for all the ladies 18 and over to get in the front of the group. Then, so that the little girl wouldn't feel left out, he designated her as the "very special good luck charm" and had her stand with Aubree and me behind the chair as the garter went on the leg of one of the bridesmaids. Total class act!

Can't say enough about Deanna Seiple from Cherryville Photography and her assistant Elisa. (Elisa, I hope I'm spelling that correctly!) Some weddings get ruined because the photographers take too long and are too intrusive. Deanna is just the opposite. She not only works quickly and excels at more candid shots so you end up not even knowing she's there, she's just so positive and has such a terrific personality that she actually makes the wedding more fun. Brilliant photographer and a wonderful person!

From our officiant Rev. Richard Cash, who met with us not just once but several times before the wedding and really helped us through it, to Palermo's Bakery in Ridgefield Park, to Somerset Hills florist in Basking Ridge, we feel blessed to have worked with such talented, amazing people.

Huge thanks to all our friends and family who came from not only around New Jersey and Pennsylvania but from Michigan, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, and even France. Yes, a friend of Aubree's came all the way from France just to be with us. Oh, and to my brother from North Carolina, sorry about your car catching on fire halfway here. Yes, that really happened. EJ our boss and his wife Linda barely ever left the dance floor. Big Bill Doyle spoke on my behalf for a toast without humiliating me too much, for which I thank him. Special thanks to Kelli, Gina, Kelly for being bridesmaids (Oh! And special thanks to Gina who also did the ladies' hair; she's an incredibly talented stylist and manager of Hair Cuttery in Bound Brook!) and to Corey, Kyle, and Steven for standing up for me. Huge thank yous to my son Jack and my daughter Mina who at 9 and 8 years old were the greatest Best Man and Maid Of Honor in history not to mention the cutest! Thanks to John and Rhonda my wonderful in-laws for everything.

To Aubree, my radiant wife, thank you so much for the best day of my life. I will certainly love only you for the rest of it.
