Jim was discussing earlier this morning (4/4) how some NJ towns may start charging you for services that your taxes already cover.

Passaic is the latest town that now wants to charge you for emergency calls they have to respond to. There would be a $1,000 fee for example, to respond to building fires.  Look for the towns to start going after the insurance companies for reimbursement but the fees would not be levied against those without insurance.
