Steve Carrellas wanted to further discuss a report that shows accidents are up and crash severities are up due directly to the red light camera program.

The red light cameras are in the midst of a 5 year pilot program that may or may not end early, due in part from these findings. Carrellas seems to think that one way or another, this may be the beginning of the end of the red light cameras here in NJ. The program may end either becuse it doesn't work as the findings show, or, because re-shaping it may be just too costly.
