Will Seattle be in “Beast Mode” next year? It’s looking like it could happen. Ian Rappaport of NFL Media reports that the Seahawks have offered Marshawn Lynch a big contract extension that would keep him with the team for years to come.

Marshawn Lynch carried the ball 24 times for 102 yards in Super Bowl XLIX, but not on the Seahawks last play. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw an interception to Pats Defensive Back Malcolm Butler, after Lynch just carried the ball 4 yards on first and goal.

Lynch took the high road after the game in one of his rare appearances where he actually spoke. When he was asked if the decision to go with the pass surprised him, Lynch said “No because football is a team sport."

It’s looking like Lynch will be remaining on the Seahawks.
