Jumanji Remake Could Be In The Works – Is This The Worst Idea Ever? [POLL]
Columbia Pictures President Doug Belgrad said that the studio is setting its sights on a reboot to 1995′s board game comedy, Jumanji.
In a short, yet ominous, quote, Belgrad said, “We’re going to try and reimagine Jumanji and update it for the present.”
Really? The original was average, but great for kids. I remember when I was in elementary school in Staten Island and they would show Jumanji in the auditorium during recess whenever we had a rainy day. After seeing it well over 20 times, I never got tired of it. Granted, I was 9-years old, but still.
