Rain on Jeter's Farewell? - Rain is threatening to wash out the party at Yankee Stadium tonight which is supposed to be Derek Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium. But if the game is cancelled there is no make-up. Some have paid tens of thousands of dollars for an infield grandstand seat.
Fighting for the Pledge - A new lawsuit filed by an Atheist group seeks to delete the words "Under God" from the pledge of allegiance. A New Jersey high school senior and her family are going to court to fight for her right to recite the pledge in its entirety……….
iPhone 6 Problems - Apple is pulling the new iOS 8 operating system update...and giving you instructions on how to get rid of it on your phone. The update has been very glitchy, has prevented some from making calls. and messing up the touch ID system. Apple says they'll provide an update as soon as they can.

Resolution for Shaneen Allen - She is the single mom from Philadelphia facing three years in prison for having handgun in her purse. She was legally able to carry the gun in Pennsylvania but not New Jersey. The Atlantic County Prosecutor now says Allen may be allowed into a pretrial intervention program that would spare her jail time. She was first denied entry but the state Attorney General Issued a clarification of the law that would allow it.

Fighting Ban - The family of a Middletown seventh grader who has been blind from birth says the school is stripping their daughter of her independence…
French Beheading - France says Algerian forces are hunting for the Muslim extremists who beheaded French mountaineer Herve Gourdel this week. The extremists carried out the killing in retaliation for France's airstrikes on Islamic State militant in Iraq. The Frenchman was seized Sunday while hiking in northern Algeria's mountains. His Algerian companions were let go.
Increasing Security - As terrorist groups, like ISIS, become more active and aggressive, you will see beefed up security measures around New Jersey and New York. Governor Chrsitie and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announcing more police will be deployed at bus and train stations as well as on the trains and at area bridges.

Long Search for a Cop Killer - Police think a cop killer is playing a game of cat and mouse with them in the woods of northeast Pennsylvania. The massive manhunt for Eric Freen continues. For days they have hunted him catching glimpses in the woods and finding clues on the ground. Freen ambushed and killed a Pa. state trooper September 12.
Funding Road Repairs - Public hearings have been launched to figure out the best way to get money for the cash-strapped Transportation Trust Fund that pays for all road and bridge projects.
No Charges for Stewart - Tony Stewart will not face charges for killing fellow race car driver Kevin Ward, Jr, when Ward got out of his car during a race in upstate New York. A grand jury has decided not to indict in part because toxicology tests found marijuana in Ward's system. at a level high enough to impair his judgement...
