Shark Sighting at the Jersey Shore House? [POLL]

That shark lurking around the waters off Seaside Heights is harmless to the swimmers but low enough for the cast of Jersey Shore to jump and it’s coming close. If you’ve ever seen the famous Happy Days episode, it’s not hard to imagine Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on water skis with Snooki driving the boat.

Both The Situation and Snooki are taking on significantly reduced roles when the show hits it’s 6th season and  reports are that MTV is seeking replacement cast mates to keep the show focused on what brought the show to the party in the first place. GTL, FTD, IFF, DFF, AND DTS.

Watching a pregnant Snookie and rehabbing Situation on a show about partying is like watching 54 year old Madonna perform at the Super Bowl. You’re worried that she’s going to fall and break a hip. It’s not as much fun partying when your friends can’t party with you and if they’re rehabbing and pregnant, maybe they shouldn’t be at the party in the first place. I think it’s better to end Jersey Shore on top, than to keep it going with replacements.

Remember when Ted McGinley replaced Richie Cunningham on “Happy Days?” What about  when Ted McGinley replaced Steve on Married With Children or when McGinley joined the cast of the Love Boat , Dynasty, or even The West Wing? It didn’t work then and it won’t now. Besides, Ted McGinley is too old to join the cast of Jersey Shore.

Better to let Jersey Shore die with dignity. Wait? Did I just use Jersey Shore and dignity in the same sentence? What do you think? Take the poll and let us know..
