Jax makes waves with dramatic Idol performance

New Jersey's singing sweetheart Jax has advanced in the Top 24 of Idol, and we're hoping she goes all the way!

East Brunswick native and our Idol contestant favorite Jax had a chilling performance last night which impressed judges and fans alike, moving her on to the next round. The song of choice, "You and I" by Lady Gaga, began with a dramatic pause at the beginning of her rendition to build anticipation within the crowd.

After she found out she was advancing to the Top 24, Jax showed gratitude to her fans, who she calls #JaxPack. "I promise I will do my best not to let you down," she said to her fans on her Instagram page.
