The race is on to replace Governor Christie.

This morning I was joined by Republican candidate Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. She was specific in outlining her plan to cut New Jersey's property taxes by first limiting the amount of your tax to no greater than 5% of household income.

The Lt. Governor got specific about changing funding formulas for schools and maintaining the bipartisan 2% cap on public worker salaries. Since the current cap law includes cops I asked her if it's time to separate the police unions from the rest of the state worker unions and she was agreeable to that idea. That's more along the lines of what worked in states like Wisconsin where the governor and the legislature were able to turn a deficit into a surplus. Can it happen here?

You gotta vote. Stay informed and stay tuned.
