42-year-old Richard Klementovich was taken into custsody around midnight after police were called to the Bucks County home of his estranged wife around 3PM on Sunday afternoon and he began to shoot at police. No motive was revealed for the ordeal.

Negotiators spoke with Klementovich by phone throughout the ordeal, and he surrendered  of"his own free will" reports the Star Ledger. Klementovich was charged  with 13 counts of criminal attempted homicide and one count of reckless endangerment, according to Doylestown Township Police Chief Dean Logan.

He had 2,000 rounds of ammunition and multiple rifles in the home according to ABC News along with a  gas mask and other tactical gear, according to Mettin.

Members of the Clifton police department came to the scene to help but would not talk about what might have triggered Klementovich. He did post pictures of his service during the 1991 Gulf War on a Facebook page within a day of the standoff.
