Classic Pope Humor with Fr. Guido Sarducci [VIDEOS]
With all the celebrations yesterday over the news of the new pope, Pope Francis, we decided to have some fun and lighten it up a little with some classic papal humor. Former SNL comedian Don Novello portrayed a character known as Fr. Guido Sarducci. Novello had some of the funniest skits about religion and the pope including skits like ‘The Weekend Update’ and one of Jim Gearhart’s favorite skits, ‘Find the Pope in the Pizza.’ These skits were back when humor wasn’t ‘PC’ and ti is absolutely classic.
