Cable employee won’t take cancel for an answer
Comcast is apologizing for the behavior of one of its workers who was belligerent with a couple who was moving and wanting to go with another provider. Ryan Block and Veronica Belmont couldn’t believe what they were hearing. The call goes on and on with no end in sight as the employee refuses to take ‘please cancel’ for an answer. The couple at some point started recording the call (the actual call went on longer than what you’ll hear) and this recording has gone viral.
In a statement, Comcast said it was “very embarrassed by the way our employee spoke with Mr. Block and Ms. Belmont.” The company said it was contacting them to “personally apologize.”
