The final day of the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park was all about Bon Jovi as the band closed out the weekend with a rousing performance.

"We’ve got nothing here to prove," said Jon Bon Jovi, "so turn it up and watch this" as the band ripped through favorites and a few deep cuts for their first Asbury Park show in 12 years.

The band was glad to come back and “remember the times I prayed to play at Convention Hall and do well," said Jon according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Bamboozle appearance was the band's first in a while so Jon warned they may be "a little rusty.” But they fell right back into concert with hit after hit, lots of fist pumping and working the crowds. Jon also announced that the band's new album is nearly complete and they'll be back on the road next summer.

After two days of perfect weather, Bamboozle's third day was not as nice as clouds moved in and a chilly wind came in off the ocean causing problems with the accoustics. Crowds for some of the smaller stages were sparse in the afternoon and many fans were clearly there for only Bon Jovi.
