A report in the Asbury Park Press came out in which local politicians are speaking out against off-shore drilling. For a number of reasons, Bill Spadea called their actions a "disgrace".

Bill Spadea says he expects more from these politicians, especially Senator Cory Booker, saying they're missing some facts.

Bill brings up a report done by the Interstate Policy Alliance, where it's estimated that off-shore drilling from Delaware down to Georgia could bring anywhere from 11 to 60 billion dollars in economic growth, as well as 2.1 to 11.6 billion dollars in direct tax revenue.

When it comes to safety, 99.999 percent of the oil shipped to the United States reached its destination without an accident.

So what's the issue here? The environmental defenders in politics are saying that off-shore drilling would kill aquatic life and hurt tourism in New Jersey. According to Bill, we in New Jersey have a bad reputation because the people who are suffering the most are those digging in and staying in New Jersey.

Even if the estimates from the Interstate Policy Alliance are cut in half, Bill believes, this will still bring a ton of revenue to the state, and create thousands of jobs.

On a lighter note, Bill Spadea also had some words for his Chasing News producer Jerry. Jerry mentioned how Tesla is going to change the future of environment, leaving out the part where not many people can afford those cars.
