Adoption Monday: Petey wants a place to play forever

It's time for another Adoption Monday!

Our friends at the Monmouth County SPCA have brought us another fun loving four-legged friend for this week's adoption as Petey is looking for his forever home.

Petey is a terrier mix who is estimated to be about 4-years-old. He can be little timid when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly. He can be quite the ladies man. This handsome boy has made many new friends at the shelter enjoys snuggling with his friends and climbing into their laps, if he can fit!

He loves to play and tennis balls are his absolute favorite. As if that was not enough to love he walks well on leash and knows many commands like “sit”, “stay”, and “come”, and can even catch treats and balls in the air!

How to adopt:

The Monmouth County SPCA asks would-be pet parents to visit the Homeward Bound Adoption Center in Eatontown or the Adoption Center at the Freehold Raceway Mall to meet its pets. The Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was founded in 1945 to care for the community’s homeless, neglected and abused animals.
