The morning drive to get the kids to school? Terrible. One hundred percent treacherous. The drive a few hours later to get to the radio station? Piece of cake.

Wet roads and yes, temperatures hovering around the freezing mark so you had to be careful, but nothing really bad. Once off the highway and on residential streets, I started noticing how damn beautiful New Jersey can be after a snowfall. If you have relatives who've never been here and bag on us for our "landfills" and "oil storage yards", or if you have friends who live in Florida and mock us for the "freezing snowy winters" we must endure, maybe show them these.
