A turtle is returned to the sea

A 12 year old turtle named Humphrey has been returned to the sea by the Turtle Back Zoo of Essex County. According to App.com, the turtle was discovered in bad shape on a beach in Virginia in December. After being tended to by the staff at Sea Turtle Rescue, which is like a rehab facility for turtles at the zoo. The turtle was released at Point Pleasant Beach, outside of Jenkinson’s Aquarium.
