This is hard to believe. According to the New York Times, 40% of millennials say that cereal is an inconvenient breakfast choice because they have to clean the bowl.

I suppose there are a lot of less messy choices, like yogurt, a breakfast sandwich, donuts, etc. That being said, how hard is it to clean a cereal bowl? If you don’t have a dishwasher, you rinse out the bowl when you’re done, put it in the sink, and fill it with water. When you get home at night, squirt a little dish soap in there, wash it out with hot water, and leave it to drain overnight. Total time: About thirty seconds, depending on how quickly the water turns hot. Pretty simple.
