Would You Want a Porn Star Teaching Your Children? The Jersey Jury Decides

Do you know those stories about the people who say they did porn to work their way through college or get to another career? Here’s one that backfired. 

Stacy Halas is a middle school teacher in Oxnard California who lost her job and an appeal to keep her job because he had appeared in pornographic movies before she started teaching.

It was when students were able to bring her up on the internet that school officials were alerted. Until then the officials were only using school computers which could not access the sites.  Halas lawyer Richard Schwab has said Halas did not star in pornographic movies while teaching in any district. He said she took parts only during an eight-month period from 2005 to 2006 because of financial problems  after her boyfriend abandoned her.

The adult film industry is a legal business that pays taxes in the community. While Stacy Halas committed no crime and claims she kept it secret to avoid embarrassment, would you want her teaching your children?  Please leave a comment..
