Tonight, someone gets awarded a $5 million recording contract on "The X Factor."

Three finalists remain - Melanie Amaro (Team Simon), Josh Krajcik (Team Nicole) and Chris Renee (Team L.A.). They survived a test of several months and hundreds of thousands of auditioners.

If reality television continues its pattern, the worst of the bunch will be the victor. That means Renee would take the top prize. At his initial auditon, he announced he was 70 days clean and sober. That streak is now at eight months, and I believe he's receiving the sympathetic vote. I am shocked Renee made it this far in the competition, especially when you consider the amount of talent that graced the stage this season.

Although no one can argue Amaro is and was the best singer in the competition all season, my vote goes to Josh - a single father working as a burrito slinger. When Josh performs, it appears as if he feels every word he's singing, and that's what it takes to be a star.

Amaro's voice is superb, but honestly, there's probably 20 people with her talent in every state.

That's my input. I was a fan of Drew from the start, so what do I know?

Who do you think will the big bucks tonight?
