There's nothing like a nice cup of coffee after turning in your taxes and that’s what Wawa is providing for their customers today. Wawa is proclaiming today to be “WawaDay’ and to celebrate, stores are giving away free cups of coffee.

Where do you think the best coffee is in the great Garden State? Do you think Wawa makes the best coffee? Or would you go Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, 7-11, Quick Chek or that little coffee place that you know of that’s decorated oh so hip. Maybe there’s a diner that for whatever reason makes the best coffee you’ve ever had, possibly because of the conversation you get from the server you’ve known for years, or the smell of the java that hits you when you walk in.

My love for a good cup of coffee is so great that I’ve owned two coffee shops in New Jersey. One in Sea Isle City called “Coffee Dot Comedy” where people could get online while having coffee, way before before WIFI was available. We also put on comedy shows at night. The other coffee house was the more conventional, called the “Daily Grind” in Ocean Grove.

As a ritual, I also make a big pot of coffee before I start my show here at the 101.5 studios, as well.

The biggest problem I find with coffee is keeping it hot. My coffee maker is so bad that I have to microwave my cup after I pour one out so that it will stay warm enough for me to enjoy drinking it. My father on the other hand practically guzzles his coffee so that it doesn’t get cold before he finishes it.

In your opinion. Who do you think makes the best coffee in New Jersey? Let's hear your choices by commenting below.
