Part of the fun when you first start drinking with your friends is all the wacky stuff you did when you were drunk. I could never figure out when friends were able to tell me after a night of drinking, not only how drunk they were but exactly how much they had to drink. When I got drunk, I had no idea how much alcohol it took to get me to my drunken stupor. In fact, I didn’t even remember being there and I usually had to get a recap of my antics the next morning. That’s how drink I was!

Nowadays, it is a totally different ‘morning after.’ Young party animals are now logging on to YouTube the next morning to find out for themselves, just exactly what they did the night before. Instead of being told by friends how out of control they got, those friends are now showing them the video of the wild antics they recorded on video.

If you search for the word ‘drunk’ on YouTube, you’ll be amazed at how it produces more than 10.7 million results.

To study how these videos portray drinking and the dangers surrounding it, researchers analyzed 70 of the most relevant and popular alcohol-related videos on the site.

Don’t worry if you don’t want to post your drunken self on YouTube. You don’t have to. Your ‘friends’ will be sure to do that for you.
