With the one year anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene recently passing and the upcoming anniversary of the random October snowstorm, it’s time to start thinking about investing in a backup generator again. You may end up getting some more assertiveness from the utility companies this time around, however. Governor Christie is pushing for stiffer fines against these companies who aren’t on the ball.
