In this interview, Dennis and Judi joke around with all-star entertainer Wayne Brady about his debut at the State Theatre in New Brunswick.

Wayne Brady is an extremely talented human being. We all know him from the improv television show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" where he stole our hearts by making us laugh until we had tears in our eyes. As stand-up comedians ourselves, we understand how hard it is to get up in front of a large group of people and try to make them laugh. And to do it while improvising? We tip our hats to Wayne, because we think he's one of the most gifted comedians in the industry!

Wayne knows that he's lucky to be where he is, and he's not afraid to admit it, either. "I'm very blessed to be doing what I do, and I've done it since I was a kid, since I was sixteen," he said.

He feels that the way he's navigated through his career in entertainment is a bit old-fashioned, but he thinks this is the reason why he's been successful. "I'm a throwback to an old school of show business," he admits. "Some people love to talk about the big things that they can do. I would rather just do them and show you that I can do it--and have you like it--because that's what I enjoy doing."

In a very candid moment, Judi asked if Wayne ever felt like he needed to "carry" anyone else while performing in "Whose Line." Wayne was quick to reply that his partners Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles both had different strengths that helped to balance the show. "It's like being on this all-star football team where every single person on that team is just amazing, and when the four of you get together, it's even stronger than what you could do on your own."

We love you too, Wayne!

Wayne Brady will be performing Friday, April 24th, at the State Theatre of NJ in New Brunswick on his "It's My Line" tour. Tickets are available here.
