It seems lately as if a lot of auto makers are campaigning for drivers to stop "distracted driving." One auto maker may have found the key to getting people's attention. Volkswagen invited a group of people to a movie screening. As the movie begins, the viewers see a car driving down the road from the driver's vantage point behind the wheel. As the video continues, someone in the theater with access to everyone's cell phone number, sends a text to all of their phones.

The text sends members of the audience scrambling for their phones. As the patrons are checking their phones the car on the screen skids, swerves and crashes into a pole.
