WATCH: Video captures NJ high school student slamming teacher to floor
According to WPIX 11 NY, a ninth grade student at John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson was arrested Friday for slamming a teacher to the floor after the teacher allegedly took his cell phone away. The attack was captured on a cell phone video. In the twenty-three-second video, the student is shown wrapping his arms around the teacher, wrestling with him across the classroom and then finally slamming him to the floor, then reaching down and taking something away from the teacher. No one in the classroom seems to attempt to try and help the teacher until someone in the back of the room is heard yelling "security!"
The teacher never defends himself or attempts to break away from the 16-year-old student while this is happening.
