Two NJ State Troopers help deliver baby at police barracks
Last Friday I had the opportunity to meet two of the four NJ State Trooper heroes who delivered a baby at their police barracks. Detectives Matthew Hanlin and Andrew Abdill joined us in studio amidst a food and music filled Friday. It was just another Friday morning for us!
The troopers were calm and collected handling what could've been a crisis and turning the situation into a celebration of a new life into the world. Just goes to show you the wide range of actions necessary for law enforcement to prepare for on any given day.
Troopers Hanlin and Abdill, recently reunited with the family and baby that they helped deliver. It was an amazing moment. Thanks to Jessica Nutt and Chasing News for sharing the video of that meeting. You can watch the reunion below.
