Authorities say the crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. Monday in Pleasantville.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the car was heading north on Franklin Boulevard when it swerved for unknown reasons and struck the bus. The car then flipped around but remained upright.

Six people were in the car, and four of them were taken to the hospital.

NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. told The Associated Press that the bus driver and two passengers suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Durso said the 502 Line bus had departed from the Atlantic City bus terminal and was headed to a mall in nearby Mays Landing.
