Twenty-eight-year-old Andre Gross and 26-year-old Norman Gray, both of Millville, also face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, felony murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and gang criminality in the 17-count indictment handed up Tuesday by a Cape May County grand jury.

The charges stem from the death of 19-year-old Khalil Wallace, whose body was found three weeks after he disappeared in September 2011. The father of a young daughter, Wallace was awaiting trial on drug distribution charges at the time of his death.

Gross remains jailed on $1 million bail, while Gray is being held in state prison for a parole violation. Both have pleaded not guilty in the case.
