Helping Syrian Rebels - The U.S. house could vote as early as today on whether to authorize arming and training moderate Syrian rebels in a mission to destroy the Islamic state militant group. An Attack on New Jersey? - As efforts ramp up to wipe out Islamic state…the terror group known as ISIS that has beheaded Americans and killed thousands of civilians in the Middle East, there are increasing concerns they may try to launch an attack here….

Apology to Penn State - Rutgers is apologizing to fellow big-ten school Penn State for the behavior of some fans at Saturday's game in Piscataway. It was our Kevin Williams who first noticed several fans wearing "Beat Ped State" shirts...a reference to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. Atlantic City has taken a big step toward becoming a major music destination. A promoter has been signed to bring at least a dozen big name concerts to AC over the next year. Most of the concerts would be at Boardwalk Hall.

Merry Christmas - If you are starting to see holiday sales and holiday merchandise in stores right now, you are not alone. Seems the retail industry's big event starts a little earlier each year.

Offering a Second Chance - Jersey City has a new prisoner re-entry center that offers on-site addiction treatment, housing assistance and job training programs for non-violent drug offenders. Governor Christie says the center will offer a second chance for those looking to turn their lives around.

Back to Face Charges -Since 1991, the murder of 5-year Old Timothy Wiltsey has haunted Central Jersey. His mom said he vanished from a carnival but her story kept changing. Always a suspect, police never had enough to charge Michelle Lodzinski with her boy's death. Until now. She is back in New Jersey this morning and will be in a Middlesex County courthouse to answer the charges.

Too Small for Seat Belts -  It's a staggering statistic. Nine out of ten parents move their children out of a booster seat and into a seatbelt before they're ready.
