Tractor Trailer Accident Slows Interstate 287

Traffic remains slow on Interstate 287 northbound at exit 30 in Bernardsville due to an overturned tractor trailer.

Traffic is backed up for several miles approaching the scene of the accident that also includes a diesel fuel spill that needs to be cleaned up as well.

All lanes had initially been closed and all traffic diverted off the highway at exit 30 (North Maple Avenue)

Route 202 through the area is slow as well.

Southbound I-287 is unaffected.
