Time-Lapse Video of Construction of One World Trade Center
It's hard to believe it has been twelve years since the attacks on our own soil on 9/11/01. For a long time, when you looked across the Hudson River from the Jersey side, you couldn't help but notice a gigantic part of the New York City skyline was missing. For many, myself included, this generated feelings of anger and sadness for those who experienced that horrible day up close and personal.
Today, in 2013, when you look across the Hudson River, there's a new beacon of hope. Check out the time-lapse video below of the construction of One World Trade Center, known to many as the Freedom Tower. As someone who frequents New York City, I have seen it being raised for years, but watching this video still gives me a sense of pride.
