Thunderbirds Visit Area
Air Force Week is bringing military flyovers to parts of New York and New Jersey through Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds team will be over the Hudson River and Long Island Sound on Saturday afternoon. They’ll pass Yankee Stadium in the Bronx before the Boston Red Sox game. Then they’ll return to Atlantic City.
At midday Sunday, they’ll be back over the Hudson again. They’ll pass Manhattan’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum before returning to New Jersey.
Citi Field in Queens will get a flyover Monday night, before the Mets’ game with the Colorado Rockies. Then the planes zoom back to Atlantic City.
On Tuesday night, there’s a flyover of MCU Park before the Brooklyn Cyclones game. After that, they’ll head to Florida.
