I hate doing dishes; not just the pots-and-pans greasy clean up, but the every day scrape-the-dried-food-off-before-you-put-it-in the-dishwasher type of doing dishes. Well, now comes word out of Sweden that inventors have come up with a coating for dishes that is resistant to both food and water; a dish that would never need to be washed.

I assume you would want to rinse them off after use, but other than that, you'd be home free. There isn't a great deal written on it, so I don't know if it is heat resistant enough to be used on cookware, but even if it is just used for dishes, silverware, glasses and the like, that would be enough for me.
