Christmas is going to be a lot more Jersey this year thanks to singer/songwriter/actor Ben Rauch, whose song "Jersey Christmas," co-written with songwriter Gaby Gold, puts a Garden State twist on the holidays.

Rauch hails from Central Jersey and is the brother of Melissa Rauch who plays Bernadette on "The Big Bang Theory." Rauch's own credits include the film "Jersey Boys" where he was the pianist/singer for "The Four Seasons." His TV credits include recurring roles on "Gossip Girl," "Ed' and "Strangers with Candy" as well as HBO's "Girls."

As for the Christmas song, song Rauch says he really just wanted to "shake things up" and put a Jersey twist on the holidays.

"My co-writer Gaby Gold and I grew up like so many millions of people, loving all the wonderful the holiday standards, from classic to modern. But after listening to the same songs over and over again for so many years, we felt it was about time to shake things up a bit," he said.

The video was shot entirely on location in New Jersey and features the Asbury Park beach we well as the legendary Stone Pony. You could even call it a little bit of a trip back in time.

"I look back at the 80s as the quintessential decade for New Jersey," Rauch said. "To me, that's what an old-fashioned Christmas would look like in it's prime."

Pretty accurate, and it's safe to say we'll probably be be enjoying "Jersey Christmas" for years to come!
