Recent midwest floods have once again raised the issue of "flood cars," or water-damaged vehicles offered for sale by unscrupulous sellers thousands of miles from the scene of the disaster.
Hundreds of thousands of cars and trucks were flooded, partially or completely, by the monster of a storm known as Sandy that made landfall in New Jersey late last month. Unfortunately, you could be an owner of one of those flood-damaged vehicles someday.
Lets say that you're on your way to a very important business meeting. You're on heavily travelled Route 206, passing through Hillsborough Township (Somerset County) and your car suddenly explodes (a figure of speech), like on the "Simpsons." What do you do?
