Christie – ‘Traveling, not campaigning’ and gaming outside AC

In the May edition of Ask The Governor, Chris Christie again insisted that he has not actually started campaigning for a spot on the 2016 presidential ballot. He also announced that he would, in fact, support a measure to allow gaming in other parts of the state outside Atlantic City.

Christie unfazed by drop in poll numbers, ally’s support for Jeb Bush – Watch

In the April edition of ‘Ask the Governor,’ Chris Christie continues to insist he's not ready to say whether he will seek the Republican nomination for the 2016 presidential election. He said the decision by his friend and 2009 gubernatorial campaign manager State Sen. Joseph Kyrillos to support former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was "just politics, not personal." The governor also brushed off recent polls showing that his approval ratings in the Garden State have slipped considerably.

Christie on Exxon, the 2016 election, Sandy – watch ‘Ask the Governor’ highlights

In the February edition of ‘Ask the Governor,’ Chris Christie again insisted that he has not made a decision on whether or not to seek the GOP nomination for the 2016 presidential election, even though Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has officially announced his intention to seek the Republican nod. The governor also discussed the Exxon Mobil settlement and Exxon's obligation to restore the areas they polluted. The governor also discussed Sandy recovery FEMA.

Christie on pensions, PARCC, vaccinations – watch the video

In the February edition of 'Ask the Governor,' Chris Christie elaborated on his declaration - in Tuesday's budget address - that he and the New Jersey Education Association are closer to agreement on a pension reform “roadmap.” He also spoke to an eighth grade girl who voiced her concern about the PARCC test, telling her it's an important step to better evaluating student and teacher progress. And he defended his recent comments on vaccinations, calling himself a "supporter" of mandatory immunizations.

Just two days after placing emphasis on national issues during his 2015 State of the State address, Gov. Chris Christie still maintains he's undecided about the possibility of a presidential run in 2016. During his Jan. 15 appearance on "Ask The Governor" Christie again flirted with questions regarding next year's race. He also dismissed criticism of his friendship with Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones, and gave his views on concerns regarding the state's PARCC test.
