In the April 2016 edition of "Ask The Governor," Chris Christie returned to the New Jersey 101.5 studio in an upbeat mood — and ready to make promises.

And while Christie had blunt worlds for Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto over the continuing impasse over plans to save Atlantic City before it goes broke in just a few weeks (Prieto's still blocking any bill that would give Christie the power to break union-negotiated deals), Christie promised that's he'd go to bat for AC against its creditors while trying to bring costs down.

But one promise was particularly unexpected — when caller Stacy said she'd run into four months of obstructionism and bureaucracy trying to get her son's driver's permit replaced, Christie promised to come with her to the Motor Vehicle Commission office.

Ask the Governor takes place approximately once a month. Each month, tweet your questions to @NJ1015 using the hashtag #askgov.
