This year, the big game is taking place in New Jersey, and there are plenty of amazing events happening in our state, as well as in New York. From parties, to outdoor celebrations, everyone can feel like they’re part of the action when they attend these events.
In case you missed out on getting tickets to the big game, here is a list of Super Bowl 48 events happening in New York and New Jersey that are just as exciting.

Gridiron Glory – The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame

See some amazing football artifacts, and get into the game with football themed interactions! This Football Exhibit runs through March 2nd at Liberty Science Center. Visit Liberty Science Center’s website for hours of operation, and admission prices.
** On Saturday February 1st, all kids who visit the Liberty Science Center under the age of 19, get in for FREE admission!
Secaucus Winter Blast
Jan. 30th – Feb. 1st
Enjoy games, food, drinks, vendors and more at Secaucus Winter Blast. Tickets are $10.00 per day, or a family four packs can be purchased for $30.00. Visit the website for the full schedule.
Ridgewood Pre-Game Celebration

The city of Ridgewood is hosting various family friendly events in celebration of the Super Bowl. Check out the calendar of events on the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce website for a complete schedule.
Jersey City Fashion Week
Pole Position Raceway
Watch the Emerging Designer Fashion Show to see the latest styles, and some appearances by NFL Players. Tickets range from $20.00 – $100.00.
Pier A Park
Jan. 27th – Feb. 2nd
Pier A Park will feature food, activities, and entertainment from January 27th – February 2nd in celebration of the Super Bowl. You can even get a picture with a giant statue of the Roman Numerals for Super Bowl XLVIII. Visit the City of Hoboken’s website for more information.

Jerry Rice and Tiki Barber are hosting this event which features food, an open bar, entertainment and more. Tickets are $495.00
Celebrity Chef Tailgate Cookoff
February 2nd at 11:30 am
Taste food cooked by celebrity chefs at this tailgate cook off at The Dragonfly in Carlstadt. The Dragonfly bar and grill is located close to MetLife Stadium, and shuttles packages are available for Game Day. Tickets start at $485.00. This event is 21+, and proper identification is required for entry.
Super Thursday 2014 – Taste of the Best Wine Extravaganza
Chart House in Weehawken
January 30th from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Enjoy a night out with a silent auction, live jazz music, food, and celebrity sports guests. General admission to this event is $350.00. A VIP ticket that gives you admission to a VIP Wine Tasting from 6:00 – 7:00 pm is $700.00. Silent auction and a portion of ticket proceeds will benefit The Hope For Children Foundation New Jersey.
SUPERBOWL EVENTS HAPPENING IN NEW YORK

Bring the family over to enjoy this giant interactive football exhibit. You’ll be able to get autographs from NFL Players, take pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, try to kick a field goal, and more! You must register for a badge to attend. Registration can either be done online, or on site at the event.
Super Bowl Gospel Celebration

Enjoy a night of gospel music and football at the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. You’ll hear performances from Patti LaBelle, The NFL PLAYERS Choir, and more. Tickets range from $45 – $150.
The Legendary Tunnel Party

BB King Blues Club and Grill is hosting The Legendary Tunnel Party featuring Funk Flex, Cipha Sounds, DJ Riz, and Big Kap. Tickets to this concert are $25.00 in advance, and $30.00 on the night of.
“The Catch” Game Day Experience

Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to tailgate and watch the Super Bowl with Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, and other retired football players. Tickets are $300 each.
