Study says ‘happy wife, happy life.’ Duh!

Bruce Springsteen, in the current Rolling Stone interview was asked “What do you know about women now that you didn't understand then?” The Boss repeated the question, laughed, then after a pause said “When Mama is happy, everybody is happy. When Mama ain't happy, nobody is happy.”

Now Bruce has scientific proof to back him up. A new study published in Health Psychology says people with happy spouses are healthier even if they themselves are unhappy.

Is there really this much grant money going around? One has to wonder though how they did that study. I'm seeing two groups of couples. One they treat like gold: giving him flowers and candy to give her. The other: they instigate arguments and dig up incidents from their past and pictures of former lovers. Then they do a stress test after a few days of aggravation. Come to think of it, I may have lived this study/
